Naming of members(revision)

From October 2016 onwards, the name "Glossop" must not appear on the website.

 

New Trial Rule for #northspremierfishery 2015 - onwards

For a trial period members are now allowed to take a guest to fish #northspremierfishery. We particularly encourage this for our older/less mobile members. A "pegging" fee of £5 for each guest (per visit) to be paid to the treasurer. No guests allowed on official club matches.

*The guest is your responsibility, please make sure they follow ALL club rules. 

 

ORCHARD LAKE NEW MATCH RULES 2021 REVISION- onwards.

The use of 2 x keepnets is ONCE again required for pond matches @northspremierfishery. Please use your common sense and keep silver fish and large carp in seperate nets. We must all do what we can to protect our fish stocks.

NO PLEASURE FISHING ON MATCH DAYS, EVERY MEMBER IS INVITED TO JOIN IN THE ORGANISED MATCHES WE RUN, WITH ONLY £5 POOLS TO PAY THE MATCHES ARE A GREAT WAY OF MAKING NEW FRIENDS.

STRICTLY MEMBERS ONLY,

plus members partner, members own parents, members own children or own grand children providing a fee of £10 per year each is paid to cover the costs of the Clubs Public Liability Insurance.(#see new 2015 trial rule for guest anglers)

 

BARBLESS HOOKS ONLY- Maximum size 12.

Aug 2019 revision: NO BRAID TO BE USED.

 

NO KEEPNETS TO BE USED FOR PLEASURE FISHING

 

ALL GATES MUST BE CLOSED AND SECURELY FASTENED.

 

ALL LITTER and DISCARDED LINE ETC.MUST BE TAKEN HOME. (IT'S YOUR POND PLEASE LOOK AFTER IT)

 

MATCH RULES.

*OCT 2022 NET LIMITS

AIM TO PUT AROUND 50lb PER KEEPNET. IF YOU GO ABOVE 60lb YOU WILL BE KNOCKED BACK TO 50lb.

AT A FISHERY WHERE A LOWER NET LIMIT EXISTS, THIS RULE SUPERCEEDS OUR CLUB RULE (Example: Springvale)

AT A FISHERY WHERE A HIGHER NET LIMIT EXISTS, OUR CLUB RULE SUPERCEEDS THIS FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR WEIGH TEAM (Example: Grange Park Messingham)

AT FISHERIES WHERE WE DO NOT WEIGH IN, THE FISHERY RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED (Example: Messingham Sands) 

 

ALL NETS TO BE SPREAD/DRIED OUT AND PUT IN THE WATER 10mins BEFORE MATCH STARTS

 

NO BAIT TO BE THROWN IN BEFORE THE MATCH STARTS.

 

NO MOVING PEGS TO LAND FISH.

 

A MAXIMUM TIME OF 15 MINUTES IS ALLOWED TO LAND A FISH AFTER THE END OF THE MATCH IS CALLED.

 

ALL VENUE RULES MUST BE OBSERVED,

 

ANYONE FOUND TO BE BREAKING VENUE RULES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE MATCH.

 

MEMBERSHIP FEES

 

£120 Per Year For Full Members (WINTER LEAGUE IS EXTRA)

 

£20 per Year For Junior Members Under 18 years old.

 

£10 Minimum must be Paid ASAP after the Annual General Meeting and the Balance Paid in Full Before the First Summer League.

 

Subsriptions can be paid at the monthly committee meetings.
